Conventional farming methods prioritize crop yields by using artificial fertilizers and pesticides. However, this approach can result in adverse effects on soil, water quality, and the environment. This exploitation of land leads to soil degradation, water pollution, and desertification - posing an existential threat to human health and ecosystems. Moreover, the high costs associated with conventional farming practices places a financial burden on farmers and exacerbate their dependence on these hazardous chemicals.
To mitigate these issues, we design and build technology & interaction mechanisms to promote self-sufficiency within communities, thus reducing the dependency on chemicals and improving the environment.
